1. Who we are

5280 Lights installs permanent outdoor lighting for homes across the Denver metro. This page explains what information we collect when you visit 5280lights.com or ask us for a quote, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We have kept it in plain English on purpose.

2. What we collect

When you request a quote or get in touch, we collect what we need to price and plan your project:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Home address or ZIP code, so we can confirm you are in our service area and measure your roofline
• Photos of your home that you send us for quoting
• Project details you choose to share, such as home type, which system you are interested in, and how you heard about us

Like most websites, we also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. See Cookies and analytics below.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Prepare your quote, including measuring your roofline from your address and photos
• Communicate about your project by phone, text, or email
• Schedule your installation and coordinate with our install crew
• Follow up on service after the install, including any workmanship questions
• Improve the website and understand which pages and ads bring people to us

We do not use your photos for anything other than quoting and planning your install unless you give us separate permission.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising. These tools set cookies in your browser. We also set our own first-party cookie (5280_attribution) for up to 90 days to remember which ad or link brought you to the site; we use it only to attribute quote requests, and it is not shared or sold. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some form and navigation features rely on essential cookies and will not work without them.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the business, such as:

• HighLevel (GoHighLevel), our customer relationship system, where quote requests and contact details are stored
• Netlify, which hosts the website and processes form submissions
• Messaging and payment platforms used to text you, email you, and take payment
• Google and Meta for the analytics and advertising described above

These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

6. SMS/Text Messaging

Our quote forms include two separate, optional consent checkboxes. One covers text messages about your quote and installation, such as appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates. The other covers occasional promotional text messages about seasonal availability and current pricing. Neither box is checked by default, and you can submit a quote request without checking either one. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

When you opt in, we record which consent you gave, the date and time, the page you were on, and the version of the consent language you saw. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.

Messages come from 5280 Lights (Jacob T Tayler). We share phone numbers only with the SMS service providers we need in order to deliver messages to you.

7. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we are working with you, plus the time we need to meet tax, warranty, and legal obligations. Photos of your home are kept with your quote and project record for the same period. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep part of it.

8. Data security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your personal information, including secure transmission (HTTPS), access limited to those who need it to serve you, and use of reputable service providers who maintain their own security safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately. If you have concerns about your data, contact us at jake@5280lights.com.

9. Your choices and deletion requests

• Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving that type of text.
• Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or just tell us.
• Access, correction, or deletion: email jake@5280lights.com with your name and the phone number or email you used, and tell us what you would like us to do. We respond within 30 days.

Our website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes to how we use your phone number or SMS consent will be communicated before they take effect.
