Why Strata

Why It Looks Different From Every Other House

Most permanent lighting comes from the same handful of consumer kits. Strata doesn't — and you can see it from the curb.

🔒

Contractor-Exclusive

Strata isn't sold on Amazon or in any store. It's only available through authorized installers — which means your house won't look like the DIY kit next door, and every system is professionally fitted, wired, and configured before we leave.

🕯️

True Warm White

Many RGBW systems produce warm white by blending colors behind a frosted lens. Strata uses a dedicated warm-white diode behind a clear lens, so your everyday light looks like candlelight rather than a blended approximation of it.

☀️

Dense Spacing, Even Light

Bulbs every 8 inches, closer together than most permanent systems run them. Brightness isn't just the bulb — it's how much light lands on each foot of roofline, and tighter spacing is what makes a run read as one continuous line instead of a row of dots. It's visible from the street, not just the driveway.

🏠

Invisible By Day, HOA-Friendly

Powder-coated aluminum track color-matched to your trim, with wiring fully concealed inside. From the street in daylight it reads as architecture, not decoration — the exact test HOA review boards care about.

21–80 lm/ft

Lumens per foot = manufacturer-published lumens per bulb × bulbs per foot at each system's standard spacing. Dealer-installed systems: 21–60 lm per bulb at 9–12″ spacing (JellyFish and Trimlight published specifications). Manufacturers do not all measure lumen output the same way, so treat these as published figures rather than a lab comparison. Specs current as of August 2026.
