Lighting You Actually Use

Not a December-only install. One roofline system, three jobs.

🌙

Warm white every night

Set a schedule once: on at dusk, off at bedtime. A soft warm white traces the roofline, lights the entry and driveway, and makes the house look finished from the street. It’s the look most customers run nine months of the year.

🎄

Color for the holidays

Red and green in December, orange in October, red, white and blue in July. Pick a scene in the app and the whole roofline changes. No ladders, no bins, no crew to book each fall.

🏈

Game day and everything else

Team colors on Sunday, a color for a birthday or a graduation, back to warm white Monday morning. Dim it, segment it, or turn it off from anywhere.

Matched to Your Trim

Built In, Not Clipped On

The daytime look matters as much as the nighttime one. Here’s how we handle it.

Aluminum track, color-matched to your fascia

The lights sit inside a powder-coated aluminum channel screwed into your soffit or fascia and matched to your trim color. In daylight it reads as a clean line along the roofline. No plastic clips, no visible wire, no bulbs hanging below the eave.

  • Wiring fully concealed, weatherproofed junction boxes included
  • Aluminum won’t crack, yellow, or sag through Colorado freeze-thaw and hail
  • HOA-friendly: what architectural committees care about is the daytime view
  • We handle the ladder work at two-story eave height

5280 lights did a fantastic job putting up the Govee Pro Lights and snaptrack system. Our home on one side had about a 30' height on one side and the technicians scaled the home carefully and mounted the track and lights with professionalism and everything works amazing. The built in Govee programs make a first timer in programming 1,000's of different scenes from XMAS, 4th of July, to our Denver Bronco football team. You cannot go wrong with hiring 5280 for your permanent outside lighting solution. Call Jake, he will take care of you.

I had a great experience with Jake and his crew. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and the team was professional, respectful, and easy to work with.

The installation came out very clean and looks significantly better than having the cords exposed. The custom track was color-matched to the house, so the lights now look integrated into the exterior rather than added on afterward. The finished result is neat, polished, and looks like it was designed as part of the home.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a permanent lighting installation.

Common Questions

Permanent Outdoor Lighting FAQ

Straight answers before you talk to us.

Do the lights really stay up all year?

Yes. They are mounted once inside an aluminum track screwed to your soffit or fascia and never come down. You control them from the app: on at dusk, off at bedtime, and any color or scene you want.

Won’t I see the lights in daylight?

The lights sit inside a track color-matched to your trim, so in daylight it reads as a clean line along the roofline rather than a string of bulbs. Most people can’t tell from the street, which is also why HOA committees that reject clip-mounted lights usually approve track installs.

Can I run just a warm white and skip the color?

Yes. Many customers run a warm white most nights and only switch to color for holidays or game day. Both systems we install do a true warm white as well as full color, and you can dim or schedule either one.

How long do permanent outdoor lights last?

The LEDs are rated for years of nightly use, and the aluminum track is built for Colorado freeze-thaw, hail, and UV. Govee lights carry Govee’s manufacturer warranty in your name; the 5280 Signature system and all installation workmanship are covered by us.

What does permanent outdoor lighting cost in Denver?

Govee installation and aluminum track cost $18–$21 per linear foot, with an $1,250 installation minimum; you buy the Govee lights direct, and most homes total $22–$25/ft all-in. Our all-inclusive 5280 Signature system — lights, track, and labor — runs $26–$30 per linear foot installed, with the lower rate on larger homes. Your exact quote comes after we pull aerial measurements of your home, so we never guess at your footage.
