We Don’t Hang Seasonal Christmas Lights

5280 Lights is a permanent lighting installer, not a hang-and-remove service.

If you want lights put up for this December and taken down in January, a seasonal Christmas light company is the right call — we don’t offer that service, and we won’t pretend to.

What we do instead: mount lights once, inside an aluminum track color-matched to your fascia, with the wiring concealed. They stay up all year and you turn them on and change colors from your phone. Red and green for Christmas, warm white the rest of the year, and nothing to hang, untangle, take down or store again.

  • One install, no annual bill. No crew to schedule each fall and no takedown in January.
  • Looks built-in, not clipped on. In daylight the track reads as a clean trim line.
  • Every holiday, not just one. Christmas, Halloween, July 4th, game day, and a warm white for ordinary nights.

5280 lights did a fantastic job putting up the Govee Pro Lights and snaptrack system. Our home on one side had about a 30' height on one side and the technicians scaled the home carefully and mounted the track and lights with professionalism and everything works amazing. The built in Govee programs make a first timer in programming 1,000's of different scenes from XMAS, 4th of July, to our Denver Bronco football team. You cannot go wrong with hiring 5280 for your permanent outside lighting solution. Call Jake, he will take care of you.

I had a great experience with Jake and his crew. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and the team was professional, respectful, and easy to work with.

The installation came out very clean and looks significantly better than having the cords exposed. The custom track was color-matched to the house, so the lights now look integrated into the exterior rather than added on afterward. The finished result is neat, polished, and looks like it was designed as part of the home.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a permanent lighting installation.

Common Questions

Permanent Christmas Lights FAQ

Straight answers before you talk to us.

Do you hang and take down Christmas lights every year?

No. We only install permanent lighting. The lights go up once in an aluminum track on your roofline and stay there. If you want lights hung for one season and removed in January, a seasonal Christmas light company is the right choice.

What do permanent Christmas lights cost in Denver?

Govee installation and aluminum track cost $18–$21 per linear foot, with an $1,250 installation minimum; you buy the Govee lights direct, and most homes total $22–$25/ft all-in. Our all-inclusive 5280 Signature system — lights, track, and labor — runs $26–$30 per linear foot installed, with the lower rate on larger homes. Your exact quote comes after we pull aerial measurements of your home, so we never guess at your footage.

Can I use the lights for more than Christmas?

Yes. The same lights do red and green for Christmas, orange for Halloween, red, white and blue for July 4th, team colors on game day, and a warm white for ordinary nights. You change colors from the app, and you can schedule them to come on at dusk.

Will the lights be visible in daylight, and will my HOA approve them?

The lights sit inside an aluminum track color-matched to your fascia, so in daylight it reads as a clean trim line rather than a string of bulbs. That is what most HOA architectural committees care about, and most approve track installs that reject visible clip-mounted lights.

Can you install before Christmas?

Fall is our busiest season and we schedule installs in the order quotes are approved. Request your quote now; we usually send it the same day, and we tell you the next available install dates before you commit to anything.
